BERRY. SWEET CITRUS. JUNIPER.
A slight berry aroma, along with the aromatic buddha’s hand and floral spice of pink peppercorn, give an aroma reminiscent of eating raspberries on a summer’s day.
The sweet tang of raspberry is at the forefront of the palate, followed by a brief herbaceous twist. This gives way to the subtle spice of pepper and the warming pine of juniper. The sweet citrus of buddha’s hand then comes in for the finale, cleansing the palate for the next sip.
PERFECT SERVE – plenty of ice, Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water, with a couple of fresh raspberries
ALTERNATIVE SERVES – premium lemonade with raspberry and a wheel of lemon for a refreshing summer drink, or ginger ale and raspberries to add some warmth
Buddha’s hand is an unusual shaped citrus fruit with long segments (fingers) and a sunny yellow colour. It does not have any flesh, only zest, which is used to add an aromatic lemon-blossom aroma to this gin.
